Vijay Sethupathy puts Sangudevan on hold

Vijay Sethupathi who had started shooting for his new film 'Sangudevan' has put the project on hold. Sangudevan starring Vijay Sethupathi and Dhansika in the lead roles is directed by Sudhakar. Vijay Sethupathi plays a role of a lorry driver. The 'Pizza' actor had sported a handle bar moustache for his role.

The actor in a press meet announced that he would not be able to proceed with this project as he is currently busy with seven other projects. He had also informed that he is not producing the project as well.

Nayanthara's 'Anamika' to release in December

Anamika directed by Shekar Kammula is the remake of Hindi film Kahaani. Vaibhav Reddy and Pasupathy are also part of the cast. The film is simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu. The film will release in December. The makers are planning to release the film in the second week of December. Shekar Kamuula has changed the script to suit the south audience. Endemol Indian Banner is producing the film.

Gautham Karthik signs a film with Sakkarakatti director

Kala Prabhu of Sakkarakatti fame is all set to begin work on his next project after Sakkarakatti. Gautham Karthik has been roped in to play the lead role. The untitled film will go on floors by the end of this year. The film will be produced by Kala Prabhu's father S. Dhanu. The film shooting will happen in Chennai, Goa and Arunachal Pradesh.

Atharva and Karthi's heroine team up!

Atharva and Catherine Tresa will be playing the lead roles in a new film to be directed by debutant Santosh, a former associate of AR Murugadoss. Catherina Tresa is currently playing the lead role in Karthi's upcoming film 'Kaali' directed by Attakathi Ranjith. Kalaipuli S Thanu will be producing this film. Music by Drums Sivamani. The film is likely to go on floors next month.

Vanakkam Chennai Original Soundtrack & BGM

Vanakkam Chennai starring Shiva, Priya Anand in lead roles is directed by Kirutiga Udayanidhi. The film hit the screens on October 11. Anirudh had scored the music. Checkout Vanakkam Chennai Original Soundtrack and BGM by Anirudh.

Appuchi Gramam New Teaser

Appuchi Gramam directed by Vi Anand, an associate AR Murgadoss, is a science fiction drama set in a village. The film stars GM Kumar, Kumki Joseph, Kanja Karuppu, Singampuli and bunch of new talents. Vishal Chandrasekar, from AR Rahman school is scoring the music.
