9 months since it was first revealed that actor Shah Rukh Khan's movie with Tamil director Atlee is titled Jawan, the film's title has been officially confirmed with a teaser video. SRK's production banner Red Chillies Entertainment had earlier today described the movie to be their 'most ambitious film' and it will see the actor in dual roles of father and son.

The father Shah Rukh will supposedly play a RAW officer character and the song a gangster. Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra play female leads in Jawan with the former playing an investigating officer. The movie also stars Marathi actress Rutuja, Priya Mani, Yogi Babu and Sunil Grover in key roles, with Anirudh for music. 

Jawan's release date has been officially announced as June 2, 2023 and the film will be hitting theater screens in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
