Irandam Ulagam is a romantic period drama starring Arya and Anushka in the lead roles directed by Selvaragavan. The post production work is happening in full swing. It is produced by PVP Cinemas. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. Anirudh is working on the BGM and RR. 

The Telugu version of the film has been titled 'Varna'. The audio launch of Varna will happen on October 26, at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad.

Director Rajesh says NO to smoking scenes

Director Rajesh has announced that his heroes would henceforth not smoke in his films at the audio launch of All in All Azhaguraja (AAAR). The director known for showing his heroes smoking and drinking along with friends has said that Karthi is shown as a non-smoker in AAAR.

About his new decision, Rajesh says, "I have consciously made this decision. Whenever my films get censored, the board members would suggest that I could have avoided smoking scenes. They have told me that such scenes glorify smoking and send a wrong message to the audience. They felt that a lot of youngsters who watch my films might get misguided by such scenes. So, instead of just putting the scroll for such scenes, I realized that we could do away with it completely."
