Actors Sivakarthikeyan and SJ Suryah are sharing screen space for the first time in their upcoming movie DON which is scheduled to release in theaters on May 13, 2022. Recently there were rumours of Sivakarthikeyan getting upset over SJ Suryah getting a separate banner for the movie's promotions [This in itself sounds half-absurd considering Sivakarthikeyan is also a producer on DON, along with Lyca Productions]. 

Nevertheless this 'rumour' has now been put to rest after Sivakarthikeyan spoke highly of his co-star SJ Suryah during his promotional interviews for DON. In atleast two instances, Sivakarthikeyan recalled how he was just a participant on a dance show when SJ Suryah was judging the show as an established actor-director. The actor also said that during his college days, he was known as the 'boy who mimicked SJ Suryah and Dhanush'. 

Sivakarthikeyan said he felt surreal sharing screen-space with SJ Suryah finally and was smiling during the latter's first shot for DON. He was also all praises for how SJ Suryah fulfilled his acting dream by becoming a director first. SJ Suryah on his part quote-tweeted one of these interviews, and acknowledged Sivakarthikeyan for this gesture.

DON directed by Cibi Chakravarthi releases in theaters on May 13, 2022. The movie's trailer will be out today at 7 PM.
