Anirudh, the youngest and happening music director of Kollywood is on cloud nine following the response to his recent album Vanakkam Chennai. All his albums 3, Ethir Neechal and Vanakkam Chennai have been chartbusters. The 'Kolveri' composer is celebrating his birthday tomorrow (October 16). He had tweeted, "Vanakkam Chennai's BGM will release on my birthday, the 16th, as a special gift to all of you."

CV Kumar acquires Lucia remake rights

Tamil producer C.V Kumar of Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum fame has acquired the remake rights of recently released Kannada independent film "Lucia". He has acquired the rights to make 'Lucia' in Tamil and Telugu. The film shooting is likely to begin in  March. 

Reportedly made on a moderate budget of little over Rs. 50 lakhs, "Lucia" is the first crowd-funded film in Kannada. How a magic pill called 'Lucia' changes the life of an insomniac once and for all is the crux of the film, which was released recently via PVR Director's Rare banner, and earned critical acclaim from critics and audiences alike.

Actor Vishnu Vishal of NeerParavai fame is a busy actor in Kollywood. The Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu actor is currently part of 5 films in Kollywood. His upcoming projects include:

1. CV Kumar's Mundasupatti directed by Ram. Nandita plays the female lead. Film shooting in progress.

2. Suseenthiran's 'Veera Dheera Sooran'. It will be produced by The Next Big Films. The female lead is yet to be finalised.

3. Kalukkuray Maaplay, directed by Ethan Suresh and produced by GVG Sreenath Raju. Bindhu Madhavi plays the female lead.

4.  Seenu Ramasamy's Idam Poru Eval where he shares screen space with Vijay Sethupathy. Film will be produced by Lingusamy's brother Subhachandra Bose.

5. An untitled movie with Chandran, who produced Nakul starrer Naan Rajavaga Pogiren.

Ishqyaun Dhishqyaun Song from Ram Leela

Ram Leela is an upcoming 2013 Hindi romantic-drama film directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The film is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo and Juliet, set in violent times. The film will be released on 15th November, 2013.

Gandi Baat Song Teaser from R... Rajkumar

R... Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha is a mass action entertainer directed by Prabhu Deva. Checkout the teaser of Gandi Baat song. The full song will be released tomorrow. The film is set to hit the screens on December 6.
