Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya is touted to be an action entertainer set in Dharmasthali and stars Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde among others. The story of the film is said to revolve around a moderately aged Naxalite who becomes a social reformer and wages a campaign against the Endowments Department over the mismanagement and theft of temple assets and cash.
Mahesh Babu has lent his voice as a narrator of this film, which is censored U/A and comes with a runtime of 2 hours 16 minutes.
