John Luther is an upcoming Malayalam thriller which according to its makers has nothing to do with the famous cop character played by Idris Elba or the English crime series he played it in - Luther. The movie which has actor Jayasurya playing lead had its trailer release today, and as previously revealed by the film's director, the story revolves around two crime cases that are being investigated by the titular circle inspector character.

John Luther is written and directed by debutant Abhijith Joseph and will soon release in theaters. The movie also stars Siddhique, Sreelakshmi, Athmiya, Drishya Raghunath, Deepak Parambol, and Shivadas Kannur in important roles and has Shaan Rahman for music, Roby Varghese Raj for cinematography and Praveen Prabhakar for edits.
