Amala Paul refuses Bollywood offer

Amala Paul was offered a pivotal role in the Hindi remake of AR Murugadoss's 'Ramana' featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The 'Thalaivaa' actor has refused the offer as she was unable to accommodate the dates required for the film.

Amala is quite busy with her Tollywood, Mollywood and Kollywood projects. The dusky beauty has tweeted, "Speculations about me signing a new movie is as baseless as Zimbabwe winning ODI World cup!! Will definitely let the media know which my next movie is as soon as I sign it."

Her upcoming films in Tamil include Jayam Ravi's 'Nimirndhu Nil' and Dhanush's 'Velai Illa Pattathari'.

Kajal about her role in Jilla

Kajal is playing the female lead opposite Vijay in Jilla. In an interview to a leading daily she had said that she would be playing an action oriented role in Jilla. The svelte beauty is all happy and excited to to be working with Vijay again after Thuppakki.

She also added, “We still have some scenes to finish in Jilla and I think we'll be heading to Slovenia soon for a schedule.” Kajal’s upcoming films in Tamil include Jilla and All in All Azhagu Raja. She will be teaming up with Udayanidhi Stalin for a new project to be directed by Jagadish, a former associate director to Rajesh.

Madhan Karky pens a mischievous song for Vishal

Pandiya Nadu starring Vishal, Laksmi Menon and Vikranth is directed by Suseenthiran. The film is set to hit the screens for Diwali. Imman has scored the music. The audio of the film will be released on October 13 at Sathyam Cinemas.

Lyricist Madhan Karky has penned a song in Pandiya Nadu. About the song, Imman has tweeted, "Madhan Karky pens a mischievous song for Pandiya Nadu which starts like this "fy fy fy...kalaachify" sung by Ramya Nambeesan. The film is produced by Vishal and will be released by Vendhar Movies.

Vimal and Nandita team up for Anjalai

Vimal, Pasupathy and Nandita play the lead roles in a comedy caper titled 'Anjalai'. The film is directed by debutant Thangam Saravanan. Music by Gopi Sundar and editing by Praveen-Srikanth. The film is a full fledged comedy. It went on floors on October 6 and the shooting is happening in Madurai. Anjalai is produced by stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan who débuts as producer with this film.
