After the acclaimed Oththa Seruppu Size 7, actor-director R. Pathiepan has made Asia's first single-shot movie titled Iravin Nizhal. In addition to A.R. Rahman who has taken care of music in the film, it has been revealed that another Oscar winner - Craig Mann has worked on the sound design of Iravin Nizhal.

Craig Mann had already worked on Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain when he won his Oscar for Whiplash in 2014. Iravin Nizhal is the sound designer's second movie in Tamil. Siva and Kunal Rajan are other sound designers who have worked on the movie and their work is said to be now complete.
Iravin Nizhal is about a 50 year getting nostalgic, and the film showcases different stages of the man's life. With a non-linear narration, the movie has used over 50 sets yet managed to be filmed in a single shot. Besides A.R. Rahman and Craig Mann, Cottalango Leon (VFX) is another Oscar winner who is also part of the film's technical team.
