IABK director Gokul signs his next
Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara starring Vijay Sethupathi, Ashwin, Nanditha and Swathi hit the screens yesterday. Music by Siddharth Vippin. The film has got a good opening and has been well received by the audience. Director Gokul who is happy with the response of his film is said to have signed his next film with Studio Green. The cast and crew are yet to be finalised.

16 Vayathinile digitally restored
16 Vayathinile is a 1977 Tamil feature film directed by Bharathiraja. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Sridevi. The film's score and soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film marked Bharathiraja's debut as a filmmaker/screenwriter and it met with a strong critical reception upon release. The film was a blockbuster and completed a 175-day run at the box office.
16 Vayathinile has been digitally restored and the trailer of the film will be launched tomorrow (October 4). Bharathiraja, K. Balachander, Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan will be releasing the digital trailer of the film. Interestingly the digitally restored film Ninaithale Inikkum starring Kamal, Rajini and Jayapradha will be hitting the screens tomorrow.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is an epic fantasy adventure film directed by Peter Jackson. It is the second of a three-part film adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's 1937 novel The Hobbit, beginning with 'An Unexpected Journey' (2012) and set to conclude with 'There and Back Again' (2014). The film stars Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Orlando Bloom, and Evangeline Lilly. It is scheduled for release on 13 December 2013.
