Dhanush recently began Vaathi/Sir, his upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual at Hyderabad and MovieCrow hears that the actor plans on wrapping shooting with the next 30-35 days. The movie written and directed by Venky Atluri discusses the flaws in the Indian education system and traces the ambitious journey of a common man, who tries to bring about a revolution. 

Sir will be Dhanush's first direct film in Telugu and the actor's highly anticipated collaboration with Sekhar Kammula will begin in Summer, 2022. Touted to be a political thriller being planned on a PAN-Indian level, this film is taking time to go on floors because of its scale. It is said that the director is keen on roping in a Bollywood actress for this project, which he intends to release in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
