Veeramae Vaagai Soodum is an upcoming action entertainer starring Vishal in the lead. The movie's release date was confirmed as January 26, 2022 during its teaser release this Christmas. Now, it is being buzzed that GV Prakash's long-delayed movie Ayngaran is also releasing on the same date.

Veeramae Vaagai Soodum is directed by Thu Pa Saravanan and will be releasing in Telugu too as Saamanyudu. Atrangi Re fame Dimple Hayati plays female lead and the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Ayngaran on the other hand is directed by Ravi Arasu of Eetti fame and has GV Prakash for music.
