Vijay after wrapping Jilla will be working with director AR Murugadoss again for a new project. While Samantha's name topped the list for the leading lady, it is now almost confirmed that the 'NEP' actor will be playing the female lead. The 'Eega' actor will be teaming up with Vijay for the first time. The project is likely to take off in the beginning of 2014. Anirudh has been roped in to score the music and camera will be cranked by George C Williams.

Madhavan signs a new film
Actor Madhavan who has been missing in action for a long time had recently signed a Hollywood film. Madhavan who plays one of the four leads in the remake of 1968 horror film 'Night of the Living Dead' has completed shooting his portions. The Vettai actor has signed his next film which will be a bilingual to be made in Hindi and Tamil. The film will be directed by Sudha Kongara of Drohi fame.
Madhavan will be playing the role of a retired boxer. The actor will be seen in a beefed-up avatar and will sport long hair and a beard. The film is likely to go on floors in December.
SRK praises Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan
Kochadaiyaan is one of the most awaited films this year. The first look teaser of the film was released on September 9. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is an ardent fan of Superstar Rajnikanth. The actor who saw the first look of Kochadaiyaan had praised it in his microlblog. He had tweeted, “First look 'Kochadaiyaan' of Rajni sir & Soundarya is awesome!! Its such a step forward for Indian film industry. Thanks for making it sir”
The star cast includes Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, Nasser, Jackie Shroff, Shobana and Aadhi. Music by AR Rahman.

Pandiya Nadu starring Vishal, Vikranth and Lakshmi Menon is directed by Suseenthiran. Music score by Imman. A single track 'Otha Kada Machan' which was released recently has been received well by the audience. The film is slated for Diwali release. Vendhar Movies will be releasing the film.
Imman has roped in Ramya Nambeesan of 'Pizza' fame to croon a song. Remya has sung songs in Malayalam films. Remya is a trained classical singer who started learning Carnatic music as a child.
