Actor Suriya has officially announced that he is collaborating with director Bala for his upcoming movie. Taking to twitter, the actor wrote, "The one who had more faith in me than myself, The onw who introduced me to a new world and gave me identity..20 years later I stand before him with the same enthusiasm..A beautiful journey again with my brother Bala with the blessings of my father (actor Sivakumar)...I request the continued love and support of all.."

It has been known for a while that Suriya is producing this film under 2D Entertainment and it will be releasing directly on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform.

Suriya's clean shaven look is said to be for this film and though he does not play lead in the film, his role is expected to be like that in Etharkkum Thunindhavan. Atharvaa, Keeerthy Suresh and Yuvan Shankar Raja are also said to be a part of this project, though it has not been officially confirmed yet.
