Vasantha Balan and GV Prakash had previously on Veyil (2006) as director and music composer and the movie ended up winning a National award for 'Best Feature Film'. Their second outing Jail, features GV Prakash in the additional role of the lead actor and its official teaser unveiled today promises a raw and gritty outing from duo.

Also starring Aparnathi, Radhika Sarathkumar, 'Pasanga' Pandi, Nadan Ram and Ravi Mariya among others, Jail is produced by Sridharan Mariathasan and  PT Selvakumar.
