Karthik Subbaraj's begins work on his next

Karthik Subbaraj made an impressive debut with horror thriller Pizza. His second film Jigarathanda starring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles has been wrapped. The film is a city based action drama that has been shot entirely in Madurai. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by Kathiresan.

Karthik has started scripting for his next film. The Pizza director had tweeted, "Starting my next script work from tomorrow. Very excited!! Jigarthanda in freezer as of now so that it can be served Cold".

Nithin Sathya signs Sundar C's film

Sundar C has started work on his next film after the success of Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru. The film tentatively titled Aranmanai will be a supernatural/psychological thriller, on the lines of Chandramukhi. Sundar C has roped in Hansika for the lead role. The latest to join the cast is Nithin Sathya. He will be playing an important role in the film. The Chennai 28 actor has confirmed the news in his microblog. An official announcement about the project is expected to be announced soon.

Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika off to Kodiakanal

Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika play the lead role in Maan Karate directed by AR Murugadoss's assistant Thirukumaran. The film shooting is currently in progress. The team will be starting the next schedule of the film in Kodaikanal from September 25. A song and few scenes are to be shot with the lead pair in this schedule. The next schedule of the film will take happen in Bangalore which will last for around 45 days. 

AR Murugadoss has written the story and screenplay. Vidyut Jamwal and Sathish play important roles. Music by Anirudh. The movie is jointly produced by AR Murugadoss and Escape Artistes Motion Pictures.
