Vikram to team up with Hari again

Vikram to team up with Hari again

Vikram is currently busy shooting for Shankar’s Ai. After wrapping Ai, he will be doing a film with director Gautham Menon and Dharani. If sources are to be believed, Vikram will be teaming up again with director Hari for a new project. Director Hari and Vikram had earlier worked together for the blockbuster ‘Saamy’ which is an important film in the actor’s career. However there is no official confirmation on the same.

Vairamuthu does it for Vijay

Jilla starring Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal is directed by Nesan. The film shooting is currently in progress. Music by Imman. Imman has roped in legendary lyricist Vairamuthu to write a song in Jilla. Interstingly Vairamuthu’s son Madhan Karky has also penned a song in the film. Thamkarai and Yuga Bharathi have also penned songs for Jilla. Jilla is produced by RB Choudary.

Samar director's next with Jai

Director Thiru of Samar fame is all set to begin work on his next film. Jai has been roped in to play the lead role. The female lead is yet to be finalized. Thambi Ramiah will be seen in a pivotal role. The untitled project will be produced by Vishal through his home banner Vishal Film Factory. The film will to go on floors on Bakrid, which falls on October 16.

Pawan Kalyan's film release pre-poned as movie leaked online

The release date of Pawan Kalyan's most awaited film Attarintiki Daredi (AD), which was set to hit the screen on October 9, has been preponed by two weeks. According to reports, almost 90 minutes of the film Attarintiki Daredi was leaked online on Saturday night. 

Samantha who plays the leading lady has tweeted, “Devastated to hear about AD being leaked. Please wait for it to come to the theatre. Support AD. There was a lot of hardwork and a lot of money invested. Let good cinema win. Our humble request.”

'The Good Road' is India's entry for Oscar

Gyan Correa's debut Gujarati movie 'The Good Road', a lost-and-found story of a small boy, was on Saturday nominated as India's official entry at next year's Oscars in the Best Foreign Film category. National award-winning 'The Good Road' saw off strong competition from films like 'The Lunchbox', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', 'English Vinglish', Malayalam film 'Celluloid' and Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam'. There were 22 entries from different parts of India for consideration this year.

Ram Gopa Varma's Satya 2 Tamil Trailer

Ram Gopal Varma is back with the sequel of his iconic film 'Satya' which released in 1998. Sharwanand and Anaika Soti play the lead roles roles in Satya 2. The film is being made in Tamil and Hindi. The Tamil version has been titled ‘Naanthaanda’. Checkout the Official Trailer of ‘Naanthaanda’!

Appadi Podu Hindi version from Akshay Kumar's Boss

Boss is a Hindi film directed by Anthony D'Souza starring Akshay Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. It is apparently a remake of 2010 Malayalam action masala movie Pokkiri Raja. The film is slated for October release. Hum Na Tode song is  the Hindi version of the chartbuster Appadi Podu song from Vijay's 'Ghilli'. Akshay Kumar had bought the rights of Appadi Podu song.
