Gautham Menon directed Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is a step away from his usual genre of movies. While the first look poster had a rugged looking Silambarasan TR in the midst of a burning forest, the second look poster which was unveiled today has him in a pensive mode while sitting in a tightly packed room. 

The poster once again indicates that Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu may be set around the theme of forests but since there is no official confirmation, curiosity continues to linger around the film's theme and story.

Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is produced by Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International and has A.R. Rahman for music.
