Pizza composer for Santhanam's new film

Pizza composer for Santhanam's new film

Santhanam plays the lead role in the film titled 'Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham' directed by Srinath. Santhosh Narayanan of Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum fame has been roped in as the music composer. The film is a remake of SS Rajamouli's Telugu Blockbuster 'Maryada Ramanna'. Camera is cranked by Richard M Nathan. The film shooting is currently in progress. 

PVP Cinemas has acquired the remake rights of the film. Santhanam has made a deal with PVP to produce the film under his banner Handmade Films on a first copy basis.

Samantha and Siddharth to endorse LUX

Samantha and Siddharth will be sharing screen space together for a television commercial. The duo comes together to endorse a brand. The beauty soap brand, Lux has roped in Samantha and Siddharth for their new TV commercial which will be aired in TV channels from November 1. 

An excited Samantha had tweeted, "Super happy to announce my new brand association with LUX. Secretly always wanted to be a Lux girl. Grew up watching all my favourite actresses looking radiantly beautiful in their lux campaigns. A total pinch me am I dreaming moment."

Bank Guarantee to release Madha Gaja Raja

Madha Gaja Raja was initially slated for release on September 6. Madras High Court had stayed the release of the film on September 5 following a civil suit filed by Santhanam from Australia.


Santhanam, managing director of Additude Advertising Private Limited in Melbourne had said that the producers had not paid 60 lakhs for his services during the film’s shooting in Australia. In his plea, Santhanam said that he took care of all the needs of the crew of Madha Gaja Raja, when they were shooting in Australia. But the producers Gemini Films failed to pay me. 


Passing further orders on the civil suit from KK Santhanam, Justice R Sudhakar granted the liberty to Gemini Film Circuit to release the film on it furnishing a security in the form of bank guarantee for Rs. 22 lakhs. Gemini Film Circuit can now release the film after furnishing the bank guarantee.

Celebrating 100 Years of Indian Cinema - First look!

South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to celebrate the 100 years of Indian cinema in Chennai at Nehru Indoor stadium. Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha has given her nod to inaugurate the event. Indian Cinema Centenary Festival will be held from September 21-24. The representatives from all the four film industries of South India will be participating in the event.
