Netflix has a grand line-up of Malayalam films that are releasing directly on the OTT platform this year. While an official announcement is expected soon, MovieCrow has learnt that the order of release of these movies looks something like this:

1. Kuttavum Shikshayum (Asif Ali) - August, 2021 (Onam) - The movie is based on a true robbery story that took place at a jeweler shop in Kasargode, Kerala.
2. Minnal Murali (Tovino Thomas) - September, 2021 - The film revolves around the main character of Murali who is hit by lightning and gets supernatural speed as a power.
3. Kurup (Dulquer Salmaan) -  The movie is based on the life of Kerala’s most wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup.
