The first look of Suriya 39 has been unveiled and the movie has been titled Jai Bhim. The poster confirms that Suriya plays a lawyer in the film and that it is based on a minority community and its issues. Jai Bhim is said to be based on true events surrounding the Irular tribal community.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Manikandan, Lijo Mol Jose among others. Jai Bhim has Sean Roldan for music and is produced by 2D Entertainment.
