Recently, the first look of director Deekay's upcoming movie Karungaapiyam was released. The poster features Kajal Aggarwal, Regina Cassandra, Janani Iyer and Deekay has said that the movie's story will revolve around dark tales in a book. 

Iranian actress Noyrika, Raiza Wilson and Kalaiyarasan are also part of this film, which has completed shooting and has cameos by Yogi Babu and Karunakaran. Karungaapiyam is jointly produced by Vetrivel Talkies, Pave Entertainments, AP International and has Prasad SN for music.
