C.V. Kumar made his directorial debut with the Tamil movie Maayavan which saw actor Sundeep Kishan playing an inspector who investigates a series of murders. The super-hit movie is now getting a sequel titled Maayavan Reloaded and Sundeep Kishan has been confirmed to reprise his role for part 2.

Maayavan Reloaded will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project and it will be directed by CV Kumar as well. Kumar's production house Thirukumaran Entertainment will be bankrolling the project.
