Nani buys Pannaiyarum Padminiyum

Pannaiyarum Padminiyum starring Vijay Sethupathi, Jayaprakash, Sneha and Aishwariya is directed by Arun Kumar of 'Nalaiya Iyakkunar' fame. The film revolves around a landlord(pannaiyar) and his love for vintage car Premier Padmini. Jayaprakash plays the Pannaiyar and Vijay Sethupathy plays the driver Murugesan of the Premier Padmini car. Justin Prabhakar has scored the music. The audio launch will happen this month. The film is slated for October release.

Actor Nani of 'Veppam' and 'Naan Ee' fame is said to have acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film. The actor is likely to play the lead role in the remake version.
