Arun Matheswaran is currently directing Selvaraghavan and Keerthy Suresh in his upcoming movie Saani Kaayidham and back in December last year, we had reported that the director has narrated a script to Dhanush as well. Talks of Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran teaming up were fuelled further, when Sathya Jyothi Film issued a birthday wish for the director this year.

Dhanush had a two film deal with Sathya Jyothi Films and after Pattas (2020), the actor has D43 with director Karthick Naren under the banner. Back in December it was said that Dhanush had liked Arun Matheswaran's script and now it is suggested that their film together could very well be produced by Sathya Jyothi Films too.
Dhanush is returning to India post shooting his Hollywood film in June, 2021. It remains to be seen if an official announcement on this development will be made during that time.
