Dhanush's latest release Karnan is being well receiving in theaters and despite the non-commercial nature of the movie, its soaring success is visible for everyone to see. Usually when a film of an actor does well, the follow-up movie of the actor (in this case Dhanush) attracts lucrative numbers for theatrical release and if the actor already had a completed film at hand, then nothing like it.

Jagame Thandhiram, directed by Karthik Subbaraj is the perfect movie to have banked on this opportunity, especially since its content is targeted at theater audience. 

However, the film is gearing up for a direct Netflix premiere in June and one is bound to think that had the film not locked itself in this OTT deal, it could have banked on Karnan's box-office success and popularity right now.
