Vetrimaaran's upcoming directorial starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi is nearing completion and at this time, it is being said that the makers are looking at titling the movie Viduthalai. Interestingly, Viduthalai is the title of a 1986 Rajinikanth movie and reportedly Vetrimaaran is in talks with those who hold the title rights.

Ilayaraja has composed music for Vetrimaaran's film, which is expected to have an official title announcement soon.
