Russo Brothers, better known to the world as the Avengers film directors updated recently that the shooting for their ambitious Hollywood franchise The Gray Man has begun. The twitter handle of Antony and Joe Russo shared a picture of the clapboard commemorating the same.

The Gray Man was originally supposed to be made with Brad Pitt 10 years ago but things got rolling for the project only in July 2020, with Joe Russo co-writing the script with their frequent MCU collaborators Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The movie stars Ryan Gosling as Court Gentry, a former CIA operative-turned-mercenary, Chris Evans as Lloyd Hansen Gentry's former cohort who is now on his hunt, Dhanush as one of the heads of the kill team that is after Court Gentry and Ana de Armas among others.

A Netflix production, The Gray Man is their most expensive movie to date with a budget of $200 million (Rs. 1500 Cr), and recently Joe Russo confirmed that they have plans to spawn the film into a series based on Mark Greaney’s other Court Gentry-centric stories.
