Dhanush has crooned a song for his upcoming film Naiyaandi. The actor had tweeted, "Singing a song for Nayyandi today. Very different from what I've sung till now. Gibran's music is very unpredictable." Dhanush and Nazriya Nazim play the lead roles in village based romantic comedy film Nayyandi directed by Sargunam. Music by Ghibran.

Selvaragavan on Irandam Ulagam

Irandam Ulagam is a romantic period drama directed by Selvaraghavan. It is one of the most awaited films this year. The post production work is happening in full swing. Selvaragavan has tweeted, "Final cut of Irandam Ulagam is almost done." Buzz is that the film is gearing up for Diwali release. The audio and trailer of the film which were launched recently have received good response from the audience. Arya and Anushka play the lead roles. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Amala Paul opposite Akshay Kumar?

Gabbar is an upcoming Hindi action drama film directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. It features Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Latest buzz is that Amala Paul has been approached to play the female lead. Though there were rumors that Shruti Hassan or Illeana will play female lead but at the moment Amala is the front runner and almost locked for the coveted role. 

The film is expected to go on floors in early 2014 and will release worldwide on August 15 2104. It is an official remake of the 2002 critically and commercially successful Tamil film Ramana directed by A. R. Murugadoss starring Vijaykanth in the lead.

Ramayya Vasthavayya is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Harish Shankar. The film is produced by Dil Raju under their Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, and will star Jr. NTR, Samantha and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The film's music is scheduled to be released on September 8. The film is tentatively scheduled to be released worldwide on September 27, 2013.
