We had previously reported that actors Vikram and Dhruv Vikram will begin shooting for their upcoming film Chiyaan 60 (tentative title) in March 2021. Now, the film has begun with a pooja and Oh My Kadavulae actress Vani Bhojan and actress Simran have been confirmed as the film's female leads. 

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Chiyaan 60 is touted to be a gangster drama and Vani will be seen playing Vikram's girlfriend in the movie. Simran has previously worked with Karthik in Petta. 

The technical team of Chiyaan 60 underwent a major change recently and composer Santhosh Narayanan has replaced Anirudh for music.
