The Great Indian Kitchen is a Malayalam drama film, which recently garnered rave reviews, is coming to Tamil and Telugu. The Tamil version starring Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead begins shooting today. 

Director R. Kannan is helming the Tamil remake and he plans on shooting the movie in a 30-35 day stretch. Cinematographer Balasubramaniam is expected to crank the camera for this film, which will highlight the struggles of a newly-wed woman.
