Thalapathy 65 (tentative title), actor Vijay's upcoming film is expected to begin shooting in March-April and while fans have been waiting for the same, unofficial updates about the movie keep surfacing. After Anirudh for music, cinematographer Manoj Paramahansa is said to have joined the technical team.

Bollywood actor Nawazzudin Siddiqui, who made his debut in Tamil with Rajinikanth's Petta is also said to be in contention for joining Thalapathy 65. Siddiqui is expected to play the main villain in the movie.

Thuppaki villain Vidyut Jamwal is another Bollywood actor being associated with the movie, directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. As for the film's heroine, Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna have so far been linked to the project, while it remains to be seen if the said team materializes.
