Mammootty starrer The Priest was scheduled to hit theater screens on February 4, 2021 but a recent buzz suggests that the film might be postponed to February 25, 2021. An official announcement on the same has however not been made yet.

The Priest recently cleared censor formalities and was certified with an U/A by the CBFC. A super-natural thriller, a teaser for the film was unveiled a few days ago revealing that the movie will be one dark ride.

Also starring Manju Warrier, the movie is directed by debutant Jofin T. Chacko, and its script is written by Shyam Menon and Deepu Pradeep.
