There were rumors tha director CS Amudhan is planning to make his second film as a spoof titled Thalavali or Thalavazhi . Now the has put an end to all the speculations by announcing his next film as "CS Amudhan's Rendavadhu Padam ( read as Irandhvadhu padam )"  which will be a multi star cast film having Vimal , Aravind Akash & Richard ( Actor Ajith's Brother-in-Law ) .

The first look poster carries a wry humor with the caption saying that the movie is "A period , sci-fi action thriller with animation, romance & NO SPOOFS ". It will be a 2012 summer release.
