Actor Vishnu of 'Neerparavai' fame and Nandita Swetha of 'Ethir Neechal' fame will play the lead roles in Mundasupatti to be directed by Ram of Naalaye Iyakkunar fame. Nandita has tweeted, "Yes my next movie is Mundaasupatti. Again I will be working along with Thirukumaran entertainment. Shooting starts soon." The film is produced by CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment jointly with Fox Star Studios.

Bindhu Madhavi in Siva Karthikeyan's film

Siva Karthikeyan, Soori, Sathyaraj and Sridivya starrer Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam is slated for release on September 6. The film is a comedy entertainer directed by debutant Ponram. Bindhu Madhavi has made a special cameo appearance in the film. Music by Imman. The film is produced by Escape Artist Motion Pictures.

Premgi joins Maanga team

Premji Amaren is playing the lead role in 'Maanga' directed by newcomer RS Raja. Premji will be playing dual roles as a Scientist and a Bagavathar in this comedy film. Premgi had tweeted, "Off to Kerala for MANGA film shooting. M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar mode ON." Debutante Haritha will play the female lead. Premji will also be scoring music for the film.

Arya to produce Amara Kaaviyam

Actor Arya is all set to don the hat of a producer for his younger brother Sathya of 'Puthagam' fame. Arya is set to produce a film titled 'Amara Kaaviyam' through his home banner 'The Show People'. The film will be directed by Jeeva Shankar who made his debut with Vijay Anthony's 'Naan'. The story is said to be based on a real life incident. The female lead is yet to be finalised. Jeeva Shankar would be handling the camera as well.

Kochadaiyaan Telugu dubbing starts

Superstar's Kochadaiyaan is one of the most awaited films. The post production work is happening in full swing. The makers had earlier announced that the film is eyeing a release this year. The audio and trailer of the film are eagerly awaited. Director Soundarya Ashwin who is working hard to deliver a quality product has tweeted, "Kochadaiiyaan is Vikramasimha in Telugu. Dubbing started for the Telugu version today!" 

The start cast includes Rajnikanth, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Shobana and others. Music is by AR Rahman.
