Christopher Nolan directed TENET is gearing up to release in India on December 4, 2020 and Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia who had a small but significant role to play in the movie has opened up to various media portals about working with the acclaimed director.

Talking about her role of an arms dealer which Variety described as the movie's 'wiliest performance', Kapadia told The Hindu“It is only Nolan, forget about me, I have got nothing to do with it.” She revealed to the same publication that Nolan's energy is what drives the entire crew to put their best foot forward. "He is so focussed and absorbed that you don’t want to step up to him out of fear that you might distract him...everyone was on the same page, we had no choice but to give our best.”

She dwelled a little bit into her personal experience on a Nolan set with NDTV where she revealed how even an avid reader like her found it difficult to comprehend a Nolan script, which are usually heavy-brainers.

"it took me 4 hours to read (the script). The first 40 pages just flew over my head..I didn't know how this would translate on celluloid. I watched the film and then I still need to see it twice over. To enjoy and appreciate all his subtleties and layers one has to watch it a second or third time."

The 63 year old actor also shared an incident with NDTV about how she managed to memorize her dialogues even though she was not allowed physical access to script or take pictures of them.

"When I returned the script, I told them honestly that I have taken photographs of my dialogues...because I can't remember my lines.. They said 'Ok we will give it to you'...So, I deleted it. Then after the film got over, I told them - Next time please make sure it's deleted from the deleted folder as well."

An espionage-thriller, TENET stars John David Washington as the Protagonist, Kenneth Branagh as the Russian villain and Robert Pattinson as the spy who along with Washington tries to prevent a global catastrophe with time-bending technology. The film was partially shot in Mumbai and is a Warner Bros. production
