Jai and Swathi will play the lead roles in Vadacurry to be directed by Saravana Rajan, co-director of Venkat Prabhu. The film shooting is currently in progress. The latest to join the cast is Kasthuri. She will be playing a pivotal role in this comedy thriller. RJ Balaji is also part of the cast. The film is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's 'Meeka Entertainment'.

Pizza producer signs Vishnu!

Actor Vishnu of 'Neerparavai' fame has been signed by producer CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment for his upcoming film Mundasupatti. Vishnu had tweeted, "Joining hands with THIRU KUMARAN entertainment CV Kumar for 'MUNDAASPATTI' directed by Ram of Naalaye Iyakkunar fame, with a fresh team. Really happy to be onboard. 'MUNDAASPATTI' will be a jolly fun ride. Looking forward eagerly. Starting shoot really soon."

Vishnu is currently shooting for Arivudainambi Kaliya Perumal. He will be then teaming up with director Suseenthiran for 'Veera Dheera Sooran'.

Dhanush's 25th film 'Vellai Illa Pattathari' went on floors yesterday. Cinematorgrapher Velraj debuts as director. Amala Paul plays the female lead. Director Samuthrakani has been roped in for a pivotal role. Saranya Ponvannan plays Dhanush's mom in the film. Music by Anirudh. VIP is produced by Dhanush's 'Wunderbar Films'.
