Raja Rani starring Arya, Nayanthara, Jai, Nazriya Nazim and Santhanam is directed by Atlee, Shankar's former assistant. The shooting of the film was wrapped yesterday. The audio and trailer of the film is set to be released on August 23. Raja Rani is jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and AR Murugadoss. The film is gearing up for September release.

Taapsee joins Arrambam sets

Ajith's Arrambam is one of the most awaited films. The final schedule of Arrambam directed by Vishnuvardhan has started today in Chennai. Ajith, Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee will be part of this shoot. Taapsee had tweeted, “Back on the Arrambam sets today, finishing the last few days of work. Let the fun begin.” Yuvan has scored the music and the audio of the film is expected to be released shortly. The film is produced by Sri Satya Sai Movies.

Vikram in Suriya's shoes?

Vikram is currently busy shooting for Shankar's 'Ai'. Buzz is that Vikram is set to team up with directors Dharani and Gautham Menon after wrapping 'Ai'. Dharani and Vikram will be teaming up for a commercial entertainer after Dhil and Dhool.

Regarding Gautham Menon's film, the director is planning to make Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram as the project with Suriya has been dropped. Gautham is currently reworking on the script to suit Vikram. Trisha has been approached for the leading lady. The film is to be produced by Silverline Productions. However there is no official confirmation on the same.
