Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas whom the Tamil audience recognize from Abhiyum Anuvum, Maari 2 was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at a private hospital on Wednesday after the actor developed intense stomach pain while shooting for the movie Kala in Kerala.

A CT scan is said to have revealed an 'abdominal blood clot' and the actor will be kept under observation in the ICU for the next 72 hours. Reportedly Tovino had developed stomach pain over the last two days while shooting action sequences for the Kala and the pain got aggravated on Wednesday while the actor was on his way to the location for filming.

While fans of Tovino Thomas are sending in their prayers and wishes for the actor's speedy recovery, the shooting of Kala is expected to be delayed, given the actor's current condition.
