The Tamil Nadu Theater Exhibitors associations held a press meet to announce that in future they will not extend support to films which are produced , distributed by Sun Pictures as they have still not settled the deposit funds for films like Endhiran , Maapillai , Vettaikaaran , Sura & Theeradha Vilayaatu Pillai for which they insist the Production house has to settle a sum of Rs 2.75 Crores . It is mandatory for every production house to settle the deposits on time to the theater owners. 

They had shown the list of theaters to the media & Press which needs to get their remaining deposits from these films which are pending for many months. They ensured that only when this due amount is settled they will screen the films from their banner. They had also announced that they will not screen films whose satellite rights lie with Sun TV Network. They claim that they will not take this issue to the Chief Minister and they would settle them internally with Sun Pictures.
