AR Rahman turns producer for a Hindi film

AR Rahman turns producer for a Hindi film

AR Rahman is said to have started a production company called Y M Movies. He will be producing a Hindi film through his banner. Rahman has written the story in collaboration with a team of international and local talents. The director and the cast are yet to be finalised. Rahman will be scoring the music of the film. The film will be jointly produced by Y M Movies and Eros International.

Vaalu is a comedy entertainer directed by debutante Vijay Chander starring Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh. The talkie portions of the film has been wrapped. The team will wrap the film after completing the pending song shoots. The song shoots will happen soon. The movie is slated for Diwali release. Music score by Thaman. A new audio teaser from the film is likely to be released soon.

Dhanush's 25th film title on Independence Day!!

Dhanush and Amala Paul will be playing the lead roles in Cinematographer Velraj's debut directorial venture. Music will be scored by Anirudh. The movie will be produced by Dhanush's 'Wunderbar Films'. This yet-to-be-titled film marks Dhanush's 25th film. About the film's title, Dhanush had tweeted, "We have just decided the title of my 25th film. Will be announcing on August 15th. Countdown starts now."

Prabhu Deva's next film with Ajay Devgn starts rolling

Ajay Devgn has teamed up with Choreographer-director Prabhudeva for a full-on masala entertainer. The untitled project has Sonakshi Sinha and Vicky Donor girl, Yami Gautam starring opposite Ajay Devgn. Ajay Devgn had earlier tweeted, "Eid mubarak! To all! Happy that I'm starting Prabhudeva new film on such an auspicous day!" The film is produced by Gordhan Tanwani of Baba Films.
