Desingu Raja release postponed

Desingu Raja release postponed

Desingu Raja starring Vemal and Bindu Madhavi in the lead roles is directed by Ezhil of 'Manam Kothi Paravai' fame. The film was initially slated for release on August 15 for Independence Day. Producer Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures has now confirmed that the film will release on August 23 instead of August 15. The film is set to release in more than 300 screens in Tamil Nadu. Imman has scored the music.

Jai's Vadacurry ready to roll

Jai and Swathi will play the lead roles in Vadacurry to be directed by Saravana Rajan, co-director of Venkat Prabhu. The film shooting will start from August 19 in Chennai. The first schedule is expected to last for 20 days and major portions will be shot in this schedule. The film is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Meeka Entertainment. Anusha Dayanidhi turns costume designer for Vadacurry. The first look will be revealed soon.

Suseenthiran to direct Vishnu again

The hit combo of director Suseenthiran and actor Vishnu, is all set to come together again soon. The duo was earlier seen in Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu. Actor Vishnu has confirmed in his microblog that he will be doing a film with director Suseenthiran. The film has been titled ''Veera Dheera Sooran'. Suseenthiran is currently directing Vishal's 'Pandiyanadu'. His other film 'Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer' is slated for release on August 15.

Arya, Shriya and Rana to host SIIMA 2013

South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) will be held at Sharjah Expo Centre, Dubai on 12th and 13th of September 2013. This is the  second edition of South India International Movie Awards(SIIMA). The event represents the four South Indian languages and felicitate the biggest and best performances over the past twelve months(movies released in 2012 are considered for the award). Actors Rana Daggubati, Shriya Saran, Arya and Sonu Sood will be the hosts for the Event.

Trisha wraps Endrendrum Punnagai

Endrendrum Punnagai is directed by Ahmed starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay, Santhanam and Andrea in the lead roles. The film shooting is in its final stages. Music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by GKM Tamil Kumaran and Dr. Ramadoss. Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Red Giant Movies' will be distributing the film. 

Trisha has completed her part in the film. The svelte beauty had tweeted, "Done with Endrendrum Punnaghai almost finishing up Bhoologham." Jayam Ravi plays the lead in Boologham directed by Kalyana Krishnan.

New teaser of '1' on Mahesh Babu's birthday

1 (Nenokkadine) is an upcoming Telugu film, written and directed by Sukumar. Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon play the lead roles. Music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is produced by 14 Reels Entertainment. Mahesh Babu is celebrating his birthday today. The makers have released a new teaser of the film on the occasion of Mahesh Babu's birthday.
