Jai and Swathi to pair up again

We had earlier reported that Jai will be playing the lead role in a film to be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's 'Meeka Entertainment'. The film will be directed by Saravana Rajan, who was an associate of Venkat Prabhu. Swathi who paired with Jai in 'Subramaniyapuram' has been roped in to play the female lead. Music by Anirudh. Editing by Praveen and Srikanth. The film is likely to start rolling this month.

Lingusamy signs Vaalu director

The shooting of Vijay Chander's debut film Vaalu is still in progress. Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam play the lead roles in this comedy entertainer. The film is slated for Diwali release. The latest we hear is that Vijay Chander's next film will be produced by Lingusamy's 'Thirupathi Brothers'. The film is touted to be a commercial entertainer. However an official announcement is awaited.

Think Music bags Raja Rani audio rights

Think Music has acquired the audio rights of Raja Rani. Arya, Nayantara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim play the lead roles. The film is directed by debutant Atlee. GV Prakash has scored the music. The audio is expected to be released soon. Raja Rani is produced by AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios. The film is slated for release in September.

IABK team off to Japan

The shooting of 'Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara' is progressing at a brisk pace. Directed by Gokul, Vijay Sethupathi, Nandita, Ashwin Kakamanu and Swathi play the lead roles. The team will be leaving to Osaka, Japan to shoot of a song sequence featuring Ashwin and Swathi. A single track 'Prayer' song and a teaser from the film will be released on August 9. The audio will be launched this month and the film is likely to release in September.

Pinky Song from Ram Charan's Zanjeer

Zanjeer is the remake of 1973 Hindi film Zanjeer starring Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan in lead roles. Ram Charan Teja, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Sanjay Dutt and Tanikela Bharani are part of the cast. Ram Charan is making his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer. 'Zanjeer' has been titled 'Thoofan' in Telugu. The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is set to hit the screens on 6th September. Checkout Pinky song from the film featuring Priyanka Chopra!
