Actor Vijay Antony has extended a gesture of timely help to the producers of his current Tamil films by announcing that he will be accepting a voluntary pay cut from his agreed-upon salary. It was officially announced today that the actor will be letting go 25% of his payment from three of his Tamil projects-in-the-making Thamizharasan, Agni Siragugal and Khaki. 

All praise for Vijay, T Siva, who is bankrolling Agni Siragugal, said, “It is very kind of Vijay to accept salary reduction considering the situation we are in due to lockdown for over 50 days and the further delay expected in releasing films. We request that all actors and technicians should also come forward and accept reduced salaries so that the overall cost of all the current film producers reduces to tide over the crisis all of us are facing currently.”
