DSP upbeat about Ajith intro song
Devi Sri Prasad is celebrating his birthday today. Post the success of Singam 2, DSP is currently scoring the music for Ajith - Sirutha Siva film and Sasikumar's 'Brahman' in Tamil. In an interview to a leading newspaper he has revealed that Ajith's intro song in Sirutha Siva's film would be the one to watch out for in the film. DSP had also said, "Ajith called me up and said that the entire unit felt energised after listening to the song.” The composer had previously recorded two songs - a romantic duet and a folk duet which were shot in Switzerland with the lead pair Ajith and Tamanna.

Middle East track for Gautham Karthik
Music composer Imman had recently recorded a track with Shruthi Haasan. The track Shut Up Your Mouth has been written by Madhan Karky and the tune has Middle Eastern influences. Imman had tweeted, "Happy to rope in Deepak Blue for a middle east track. Yet another promising find from the super singer compound. Its a duet with Shruthi Haasan,which was recorded recently for Gautham Karthik's next flick directed by Ravi Thiyagarajan." The film is the Tamil remake of Telugu film 'Ala Modalaindi'.
Arima Nambi second schedule
Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand play the lead roles in Arima Nambi directed by debutant Anand, a former associate of AR Murugadoss. Arima Nambipromises is said to be an engaging action thriller. The first schedule of the film was wrapped recently. The team is set to begin the next schedule of the film in the third week of August. Drums Sivamani has turned music composer for this film produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.
James Cameron to make three 'Avatar' sequels
Avatar the visual splendor which turned out to be a phenomenal success worldwide is ready to strike back again. Director James Cameron has confirmed that he will make three sequels to his blockbuster Avatar. Production on all the movies will begin next year, with the first sequel set to be released in December 2016. The second sequel will come the following December and the third in December 2018.
Cameron said in a statement: "In writing the new films, I've come to realize that 'Avatar's' world, story and characters have become even richer than I anticipated, and it became apparent that two films would not be enough to capture everything I wanted to put on screen. And to help me continue to expand this universe, I'm pleased to bring aboard Amanda, Rick, Shane and Josh — all writers I've long admired — to join me in completing the films screenplays."
