Lakshmi Menon's role in Jigarthanda

Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon play the lead roles in Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj of 'Pizza' fame. Major portions of the film has been shot in Madurai. Lakshmi Menon will be seen as an idli seller in the film. Jigarthanda is touted to be a suspense thriller. Simhaa and Karuna play supporting cast. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by Aadukalam producer 'Kathiresan'.

Lakshmi Menon's upcoming films include Vimal's 'Manja Pai', Vishal's 'Pandiyanadu' and Gautham Karthik's 'Sippai'.

Studio Green signs Mounaguru director

Director Santha Kumar who gave a sleeper hit with his debut film 'Mouna Guru' is all set to begin his second film. Studio Green will be producing his next venture. Santha Kumar who has finalised the script will soon start the pre-production work. The cast and crew are yet to be finalised. An official announcement is awaited soon.

Vijay to team up with Hari?

After Singam 2, director Hari is yet to decide on his next project. Speculations are rife that Hari-Karthi project which was supposed to take off next has been shelved due to unknown reasons. The latest rumour doing rounds in Kollywood is that director Hari is in discussion with Vijay for a new project. There seems to be a lot of speculations regarding Hari's next project, we need to wait for an official announcement from the director.

The shooting of Jai's 'Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah' (TEN) directed by debutante Aneesh has been wrapped. The post production work is currently in progress. The movie is touted to revolve around marriages of different cultures and religions. Nazriya Nazim plays the leading lady and music is by Ghibran. Movie is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Bharath clears wedding rumours

Rumour mills were abuzz in K-Town that Bharath is set to tie the knot soon with his lady love Shammu of Kancheevaram fame. Bharath who is currently shooting for his Bollywood film Jackpot has denied the news as rumour. He had tweeted, "After 555 I am busy shooting for Jackpot and all the rest is nothing but pure rumours. When I am ready to tie the knot I would be the first person to announce. In the meanwhile all the marriage rumours is purely false!"

Last Vegas Trailer

Last Vegas is an upcoming comedy film starring Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline and directed by Jon Turteltaub. Four best friends, in their late sixties, throw a bachelor party in Las Vegas for the last one of them to be getting married. The film is set to be released on November 1, 2013.
