Shruthi sings for Gautham Karthik
Imman is scoring the music for the Tamil remake of Telugu film Ala Modalaindi starring Gautham Karthik and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Shruthi Haasan had recorded a song for this film. About the song Imman had tweeted, "Recorded a middle east track with Shruti Haasan for Gautham Karthik's next untitled flick." Interestingly Anirudh had also earlier recorded a song for this film. The film is directed by Ravi Thyagarajan.

Karan Johar to produce Vettai Hindi remake
Vettai directed by Lingusamy starring Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amal Paul hit the screens in 2012. The film was remade in Telugu as Tadakha. The latest we hear is the film is to be remade in Hindi. Karan Johar who was impressed with the film after watching it has decided to produce the film along with UTV. The official announcemnt regarding the film is expected soon.
Action time for Ajith in Orissa
Ajith is currently busy shooting for Sirutha Siva's film. The team had recently been to Switzerland to shoot two songs on the lead pair Ajith and Tamanna. The team will be next leaving to Orissa to shoot a high action train chase sequence. The stunt sequence will feature Ajith and his brothers played by Vidarth, Bala, Munish and Suhail. Paresh Rawal who plays the villain will also be part of this action sequence. A week long high octane train stunt sequences has been planned at the Orissa — Andhra border. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film.
Neram girl Nazriya for Karthi?
Karthi has wrapped Biriyani and is shooting for Rajesh's 'All in All Azhagu Raja'. The actor is set to team up with Attakathi Ranjtih for a new project. The director is in the process of finalising the female lead. Nazriya Nazim of 'Neram' fame has been approached for the leading lady. The talks are in the inital stages and nothing has been firmed up yet. Nazriya who is busy with Nayyandi, Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and Raja Rani will decide on her new projects after wrapping her current projects.
Ranbir Kapoor's 'Besharam' Official Trailer
Besharam, a comedy film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda is directed by Abhinav Kashyap. Ranbir Kapoor plays a street smart mechanic Babli in the movie. The film is set to hit the screens on October 2.
