Endrendrum Punnagai is a romantic comedy film directed by Ahmed starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay, Santhanam and Andrea in the lead roles. The film shooting has reached the final stage. Jiiva has tweeted, "Shooting the last leg of Endendrum Punagai. Song shoot on the roll." Music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by GKM Tamil Kumaran and Dr. Ramadoss. Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Red Giant Movies' will be distributing the film.

The most awaited Thalaivaa is set to hit the screens on August 9. The film will be dubbed in Telugu and released simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh on August 9. The telugu version of the film has been titled 'Anna Born to Lead'. The film is likely to release in around 250 screens in AP. Vijay and Amala Paul play the lead roles in Thalaivaa directed by AL Vijay.
