Vaalu starring Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh is directed by debutante Vijay Chander. Simbu who was shooting in London for VTV Ganesh's own production 'Inga Enna Solludhu' has returned back to Chennai. The actor has joined the Vaalu team for shooting. Simbu has tweeted that the second audio teaser from Vaalu will be out very soon. A single track 'Lovendravan Nee Yaruda' was released on February 14 this year. The film is slated for Diwali release.

Anirudh on a roll
Young and happening music composer Anirudh is definitely on a roll in K-Town. The '3' composer is on cloud nine after having delivered a hat trick with his third album Vanakkam Chennai which was released on July 27. The 'Ethir Neecahl' composer has become the most sought-after music director in Kollywood with his sensational hits. His upcoming projects include Siva Karthikeyan's Maan Karate, Vijay - AR Murugadoss film, Dhanush-Amala Paul film and Dhanush-Selvaragavan film.
Nayyandi team off to Switzerland
Dhanush and Nazriya Nazim play the lead roles in village based romantic comedy film Nayyandi directed by Sargunam. The First Look of the film was revealed on Dhanush's birthday (July 28). Nayyandi team along with director Sargunam and Nazriya will leave to Switzerland today for a song shoot. Dhanush will join the team from London. The talkie portion of the film has been wrapped. Music by Ghibran.
Pannaiyarum Padminium single track launched
A single track from 'Pannaiyarum Padminiyum' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Jayaprakash and Aishwariya directed by Arun Kumar was launched at Mirchi Music Awards on July 26. The song 'Unakkaga Pirandhene' was penned by late lyricist Vaali. Music by Justin Prabhakaran. The film shooting has been wrapped and the post production work is currently in progress. The movie is about a pannayar's love for his vintage Premier Padmini car.
Madhavan signs a Hollywood film
Actor Madhavan who has been missing in action for a long time has bagged a Hollywood film. Madhavan was last seen in Vettai in Tamil and Jodi Breakers in Hindi. The Vettai actor has signed a Hollywood film with producer Simon West of 'Tomb Raider' fame. The film is a remake of 1968 horror film 'Night of the Living Dead'. The 3D reboot is directed by Zebediah De Soto. Madhavan will play one of the four leads. The film will be produced by Simon West Productions and The Graphic Film Company in association with 2020 Entertainment and Indus Media and Entertainment.
