Uppena starring Vijay Sethupathi, Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles is directed by Bucchi Babu Sana. Vijay who made his Telugu debut with period drama 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Uppena, which marks his second film. The makers have unveiled the first look of Vijay Sethupathi who essays the role of 'Rayanam' in the film. 

Uppena marks the debut film of Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty The film is produced by Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers. It is set to hit the screens on April 2, 2020 and has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
